Bobtails Baby and Toddler Group

Bobtails is on tomorrow, Tuesday 24th March at the Cotton Hall as usual from 10-11.30 am. Anyone caring for a child under five is welcome to drop in! Free play and snacks from 10-11, singing and a Bible story at 11.10. We'll then be taking a couple of weeks off for the Easter holidays.

😎Enjoying being outside in this lovely sunny weather? We'll decide in the morning if it's warm enough for outdoor play at Bobtails tomorrow. Inside or out, we'll have the usual toys and sensory play, snacks, singing and a story as we think about FOOD and sharing what we have with all God's creatures . . . 🐦🪿🦆

Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed the holidays with your families and friends.

Bobtails playgroup starts again tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January and we'll be running every Tuesday until 24th March, except for the 17th February (half-term). We look forward to seeing you, and promise hot drinks and hopefully a warm space to play in the Cotton Hall.

We would like to ask again for your help setting up the hall (I am usually there from 9.30 am), and putting everything away at the end of the session. Many hands make light work!

The Cotton Hall is also looking for new people to volunteer as trustees - we need people to advise on publicity, fundraising, health & safety, building maintenance, finance, and building links with other community groups - there are 5-6 meetings a year. It's a friendly and informal committee, and a nice way to meet others from Girton village. Please ask Eona or Michael (both current trustees) if you'd like to find out more.

🎄🎄It's our last session tomorrow (9th December) before the Christmas holidays - we'll be back again on 6th January. Join us at the Cotton Hall (10-11.30 am) for festive crafts and snacks, plus the usual toys, sensory play, a Bible story and singing.

Babies and children of all ages are most welcome with their families at St Andrew's Girton for any of our Christmas services:

- Sunday 14th December at 10 am Nativity Service (an informal service with nativity play and carols - come and join in as an angel or shepherd, or just to watch!)
- Sunday 21st December at 10 am - Holy Communion with activities for children (St Andrew's for Kids)
- Wednesday 24th December at 3 pm Christingle Service
- Thursday 25th December at 10 am Family Christmas Service

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Bobtails tomorrow - if you haven't been before, feel free to drop in with your baby/toddler. Best to arrive between 10 and 11, in time for singing and a story from 11 onwards. We'll have the usual toys, crafts and outdoor play, healthy snacks and hot drinks for the adults! 😀
