Good luck to Hannah Frimston for who is running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of The Medway Hospital Charity in London today. 🥰
Hannah said: "As a physiotherapist at Medway Maritime Hospital I’ve seen how charitable funding has helped provide much-needed equipment across the hospital, including in our own physiotherapy department, supporting patients through recovery after illness, injury, and surgery."

This Thankful Thursday we'd like to do a massive shout out to Hannah Frimston for running the Royal Parks half marathon for The Medway Hospital Charity. 🥰

Hannah said: "As a physiotherapist at Medway Maritime Hospital I’ve seen how charitable funding has helped provide much-needed equipment across the hospital, including in our own physiotherapy department, supporting patients through recovery after illness, injury, and surgery."

The 13.1 mile run takes place in London on 11 October 2026. 🏃🏻‍♀️

A dedicated fundraiser, who raised thousands of pounds to support the work of Medway Maritime Hospital, has left a £5,000 legacy.
The money gifted by Shahida ‘Gudo’ Qureshi from Compass Close, Rochester, is being used to buy five wheelchairs for The Medway Hospital Charity’s Thirty at 30 Wheelchair appeal.
Shahida, who died in November 2024, aged 71, raised thousands of pounds towards a breast cancer ultrasonic scanner, in memory of her niece, and for the hospital’s hydrotherapy pool appeal. She also donated money to the rheumatology department, following her diagnosis with rheumatoid arthritis.

Do you have new or second-hand clothing in good condition that you can donate to help raise funds for our charity?

If you have items that are suitable for donation, please consider dropping them off at the Charity and Volunteers’ Hub located in the main entrance.

You can find our team of volunteers in the hub between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
