We are very excited to host the Rochester Choral Society concert at St Augustine’s Church on Saturday 11th July at 6pm. Make sure you head to their page for further details and ticket sales.
Rochester expects…!
Summer Concert 2026: we’re delighted to bring you our Director of Music Adrian Bawtree’s original cantata about the Battle of Trafalgar, ‘Make More Sail’.
With Adrian’s memorable and moving tunes, and witty and engaging lyrics by Jonathan Jeffery, it tells the story of Nelson’s last conflict through the eyes of John Pasco, the Signal Lieutenant of Nelson’s flagship, HMS Victory.
And in a strong double bill we’re also delighted to bring you Francis Poulenc’s ‘Gloria’. He was part of a predominantly French group called Les Six, which also included Erik Satie.
This ultimately uplifting work runs the gamut from playfulness to solemnity, and was written as the 1950s became the ‘60s, towards the end of the composer’s too-short life.
Do join us at St Augustine's Church, 192 Rock Avenue, Gillingham ME7 5PW on Saturday 11 July 2026 at 6pm.

The church is a new venue to us which we think you’ll warm to; parking is available nearby, and buses connect with Gillingham railway station about a mile away.
Or perhaps you’ll make your entrance via the River Medway?!
