This Men's Mental Health Week, if there's someone you've been meaning to check in on, here's how to make that conversation a little easier

Try doing an activity together while you talk, ask him to rate how he's feeling from 1–10, and meet whatever he shares with reassurance rather than solutions. If he's not ready to open up yet, that's ok, just letting him know you're there matters more than you think

You can also let him know that more support is available, we are here is he needs us πŸ’œ

A great morning spent connecting with the Tesco team in Banbridge πŸ’š

A big thank you to the Tesco Union Rep and Mental Health Champion for inviting us along to Tesco Superstore Banbridge to chat with colleagues about mental health, wellbeing and the support available within our community.

It was great to meet everyone, have some honest conversations and hear how Tesco are continuing to support mental health in the workplace by creating a space where people feel comfortable talking, sharing and looking out for each other πŸ’š

We had the chance to talk about Changing Lives NI and the work we do to support people in our community by providing a safe, confidential space for individuals who may be struggling, offering support, connection and a reminder that nobody has to face things alone.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat and showed such interest in what we do. Small conversations can make a big difference, and together we can help break the stigma around mental health and support even more people.

Remember β€” you matter, and support is always there πŸ’š
