Last week East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub hosted a fantastic Harvest Festival at the Community Wellbeing & Enterprise Hub at Rouken Glen. The event was held in partnership with East Renfrewshire Council Adult Learning Services to celebrate Adult Learners’ Week and Scotland’s Climate Week. 🌿🍎

Our community came together to harvest apples, make fresh juice, plant herbs and sow seeds, and get creative in our chutney and chilli jelly workshop. We also shared fresh produce grown by our volunteers and enjoyed browsing our book and toy swap.

It was lovely to welcome local organisations sharing advice and support, while giving everyone the chance to learn new skills, connect with others and celebrate sustainable living.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to our wonderful volunteers who helped make the day so welcoming and enjoyable. 💚

The Community Wellbeing & Enterprise Hub is a place to learn, connect, share skills and get involved in your local community. Why not come along and see what’s happening at the Hub? 🌱
