Amazing afternoon at The Globe in Newcastle with ukulele friends. Together, we raised nearly £300. Thank you to all who performed and supported. Your cash will go towards fighting loneliness with the humble ukulele.

Even music superstars need a little help from furry friends! Ed Sheeran recently shared that his two cats have become a calming presence during his songwriting sessions, helping him stay focused and relaxed while creating new music.
Fans loved this glimpse into his routine, and it’s a reminder that inspiration and comfort can come from the smallest companions. Sometimes, a purring cat is all it takes to turn a long recording session into a warm, creative haven.

💿It’s World Ukulele Day and what better way to celebrate than to stream Tyrone & Lesley’s 10th album ‘Keepers’ alongside an EP ‘Finders’. Now available in 251 countries, these tunes are ready to be heard on Spotify and Bandcamp. 📀

Tyrone and Lesley’s songwriting sojourn at a lighthouse began an adventure to record songs in all sorts of unusual places to see what we might make of these places and what these places might make of us.

They captured songs about or in the wild at Caloundra Lighthouse, Archerfield Airport, Brisbane’s oldest farmhouse and the Walter Taylor Bridge, the only bridge in the southern hemisphere you could live in.
