Today is the start of World Breastfeeding Week 2026. This year’s theme is “Breastfeeding for a sustainable start in life: strengthen what works”. A report by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action highlights community-based support beyond the hospital. It points out that “mother-to-mother” is a “scaleable” example of that.

Mother-to-mother support is the model that MoMa Breastfeeding is based on. We are starting small but growing all the time.
