At just one year old, Custard hasn’t had the easiest start to life. He came into our care from a multi-cat household and is an extremely shy boy who is still learning that people and the world around him, don’t have to be quite so scary.

What Custard needs most is time, patience, and understanding. He’s looking for someone who won’t expect too much too soon, but who will give him the space he needs to settle in and discover what it means to finally have a family of his very own. We know there’s a brave little lad hiding underneath all those nerves, and in the right home, we hope his confidence will begin to grow and his personality will start to shine ✨

Because Custard can find things overwhelming, he’s looking for a quieter home without younger children 🏡

Fourteen-year-old Liono is searching for a loving where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by peace, comfort, and plenty of love. Could you lend a helping paw by sharing his story? 🐾

Liono is a friendly, affectionate boy who has found himself in our care after his owner's circumstances changed. He's a real outdoor enthusiast and has lived in both built-up and rural areas, but it's clear that the quieter life is where he's happiest. We'd love to find him a home with plenty of safe green space for him to explore at his own pace.

Liono would like to be the only pet in the home and is looking for an adult-only household where he can enjoy all of the attention for himself. In return, you'll gain a wonderful companion who still has so much love to give!

Older cats like Liono are so often overlooked, but they make incredibly rewarding companions. We hope someone will see just how special this handsome gentleman is and offer him the home he truly deserves.

Sadly, Zippy and Zoom are still waiting for someone to take a chance on them... could you lend a helping paw and share their story? 🐾

These sweet siblings haven't had the easiest start when it comes to trusting people, and while they've already made wonderful progress in our care, what they really need now is a calm, patient where they can continue that journey together 🏡

Zippy and Zoom may never be the kind of cats who demand cuddles or curl up on your lap, but that doesn't make them any less deserving of a home to call their own. For the right person, watching these two youngsters slowly build confidence, learn to trust, and begin to feel safe will be something incredibly special.

Seven-year-old Twilight is still patiently waiting for someone to notice her but sadly, this lovely girl hasn’t had much luck finding her so far, so we’re giving her another little share in the hope that the right person is out there 🤞🏻

Twilight came into our care after finding life with a new baby in the home a little too stressful. She’s a lovable girl who enjoys attention and affection, but she also values her independence and likes having the space to do things at her own pace.

Twilight can sometimes become overstimulated, so she’s looking for a calm, understanding adult-only home where she can be the only pet and truly relax and settle in 🏡

We know this lovely lass has so much love and companionship still to give, she just needs someone willing to give her the chance, could you help us find Twilight her person? Even if you can’t adopt, a share could be the one that reaches them! 💜

🏃🏻‍♀️🐾 They’re off! 🐾🏃🏻‍♂️

Today, Jack and Sophie are taking on the Newcastle Inflatable 5K to raise money for the cats in our care here at Tyneside Cat Centre! 👏🏻

They’ll be running, bouncing, climbing and probably questioning their life choices at least once along the way 😂 - all to help make a difference to cats who need us.

We’re incredibly grateful to them both for choosing to support our centre, and we’d love to give their fundraising totals one final boost! If you’re able to spare a few pounds, or simply share their fundraising pages, every bit of support is hugely appreciated!
