Come along tomorrow to find out more about volunteering

09/10/2026

After a bumpy couple of years as a founder things are now slotting into place. I am super proud to be part of Junction Point CIC’s Social Enterprise Day.

Social Enterprises are a great way to make positive changes while creating jobs and often filling gaps that used to be filled by Local Authorities and Goverment.

There is a booming economy of Social Enterprises here is Gateshead all working hard to ensure improvements in the lives of our residents.

Brilliant to see someone starting young with their sport.

Good luck Connor

🎯❤️ CAN WE ALL GET BEHIND THIS YOUNG LAD? ❤️🎯

I came across a post today from 15-year-old Connor, and it genuinely caught my attention.
Connor absolutely loves his darts. He plays every Friday and Sunday, but it costs him £11 a week and unfortunately he can’t always afford to keep going.

But here’s what I really liked...
He isn’t asking for handouts. He’s asking for WORK. 👏

He’s looking for little jobs where he can earn £10–£20 a week so he can continue doing the sport he loves and keep chasing his dream. 🎯
I’ve already told Connor I’ll give him £20 towards this week, and if one day he makes it big, he can give me £30 back. 🤣❤️

So I thought with the platform I have, why not try and help the lad a little bit more?
If anybody around the Wrekenton/Gateshead area has any safe, suitable little jobs for a 15-year-old — washing cars, tidying gardens, helping out with something, whatever it may be — give Connor a shout.

There’s something brilliant about seeing a young lad prepared to get off his backside and earn the money to keep doing something he genuinely loves.

A tenner might not mean much to some of us, but to Connor it could mean another week standing at that oche chasing his dream. 🎯

Give the lad a share and let’s see if our little community can get behind him. ❤️👏

Keep at it, Connor. You never know where those darts might take you, kidda. 🎯💪
