Get us to Belfast! We're delighted to be joining Arts Care in a cultural exchange exploring participatory workshops within sheltered housing schemes.

Thanks to the Connect Fund & Northern Ireland Office we'll be heading to Belfast with artists & the gang from Blenheim Court in Gateshead to share ideas and best practice on ways to bring creativity into the community.

Currently busy with their Community Ceilidh, the Gateshead group will showcase their work so far at a festival in Carrickfergus.

Closer to home people in Newcastle & Gateshead can join in the dancing when Blenheim Court bring their ceilidh to Newcastle Libraries as part of this year's The Late Shows on May 9 with The Redheughers

The Install project is well underway! Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund community group The Artful Willows are celebrating a century of East End markets.
Based at Willows Care Home the group are breathing new life into the stories and traditions of Rathbone Market, Chrisp Street market and one of London’s oldest sites Petticoat Lane.

Coming up will be dementia-friendly creative workshops where they'll create visual artwork, audio recordings and Zines about the traders and those who shopped there.

To get inspired the group visited Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives to get up close with their heritage collections.

Can't wait to see what stories they uncover!
