Okay, now that the April Fool's shtick has passed, and it's AFTER 12pm...
To all of you wonderful lot out there,
As chair woman and owner of this society, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone the activities of EROS Drama and Theatre and close the society for a period of twelve weeks, beginning from 30th March, 2026.
The decision follows a review of the current circumstances of the society and the ongoing issues that have been present within it for some time.
These recent challenges have made it incredibly difficult to maintain our usual programme of productions and projects and to manage the society's operations effectively. Having a temporary closure and pausing of activities will allow me to reorganise the society as a whole, address the matters at present and ensure that the society can run sustainably in the future.
I would like to thank the members, volunteers, audiences and supporters for your/ their continued enthusiasm and commitment. The society has always been powered by community spirit, creativity and collaboration - Qualities that I FULLY intend to carry forward with me when business activities resume.
All regular activities and events will be supended during this period. Updates about the society's future will be shared through our usual channels once a plan has been confirmed.
