Fantastic day in St. Mary Magdalen’s, Seaham, teaching dances which will be used to celebrate different seasons throughout the liturgical year. They still use the dances we taught 2 years ago so it was great to add to their repertoire.

We have spent our first day of the Autumn term in St. Francis, Morley, celebrating St. Francis’ feast day. All the classes were amazing but special mention to Year 3 who shared their dance in front of the school and parents in an end of the day liturgy.

Mary Prayer

In October we take time to contemplate the person of Mary.

When thinking of Mary, we often see the imagery and forget the strength. The strength it took a young woman to say yes to God in the face of dangers. A yes that could have led to her death at the hands of the people she grew up with, for the law would have meant she would be stoned to death if found to be pregnant and unwed. A yes that saw her follow her beloved son through the streets of Jerusalem, and watch him die one of the most torturous deaths.

Mary bore all with grace and at the same time an unshakeable strength.

May this year be filled with knowledge and blessings.

Our new speaker turned up today and as you can see Danielle is a little bit happy about it.

The big speaker isn’t getting fully retired just yet we just needed something lighter for the day to day. We aren’t going to say it’s because Danielle is getting on a bit but…

We are excited about where this speaker will go around the country and how it will help us continue this wonderful ministry.
