!** DUCK RACE - NEW DATE **!!
Due to the continuing low water levels in streams/rivers we have taken the decision to postpone the Duck Race from 23rd August to SUNDAY 13th SEPTEMBER.
The expected Spring Tide then will be more suitable for allowing smooth and speedy passage of our battling ducks down the Burn.
A small amount of duck numbers are still available to buy - £2 each.. available by contacting Lorraine on 07859198237

EVELYN CLARKE MEMORIAL SHIELD

The Memorial Shield was presented to Hazel Baillie by Alan Clarke at the Hub last night.

Hazel was the judge's choice at Maggie Fair at the end of June having produced a delicious gingerbread and a lovely baby hat

Our Post Maggie Fair ('Greetin') Meeting is being held tomorrow night (Wednesday 22nd) in The Hub at 7pm.

Drum Roll...

The Committee absolutely delighted to announce that the total sum raised after our Quiz Night, Tombola and Fair Day is an amazing ... £15,127

There are still expenses to be deducted but it is truly a brilliant amount for our main community fundraiser.
Thank you all again for your support.

What a wonderful day yesterday - hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you to all who came along, volunteered, baked, donated and spent.

We have some lovely photos to follow - taken by Benedict - but please feel free to add your own on Oot and Aboot ..

Lorraine is still totting up the pennies and sorting out raffle prizes .. as soon as we hear we'll post the information out.

Remember.. the access roads thru the village closed to traffic from 12.30 pm till 1.15 pm.. get there early 😉
