HISTORY OF FROGS
F.R.O.G.S (Friends & Relations of Garboldisham School)
Over the years £50,000 has been raised for the School – in an incredible variety of ways – and this has provided so much to enhance the children’s education. The types of events that FROG’s organise range from the Summer Fair, the provision of refreshments at Christmas concerts, flower arranging demonstrations, fashion evenin
gs, quizzes, dances. Whilst expenditure has been on such various items as cassette recorders, paying for every child to attend the Pantomime in Norwich, Computer equipment, speical furniture for the classrooms, equipment for play areas, books – an enormous range. Nobody who volunteers to help is turned away, so fancy having some fun and raising funds along the way, or have some ideas of things to do then please let us know. The School owes a huge debt to the hardworking FROG’s committees over the years – without the monies that they have raised, the children would not enjoy such a rich and varied curriculum.
