A huge shoutout to James on his first day at the cafe!
He’s been super busy all morning and already getting lovely compliments from customers on how polite and helpful he is. 😊

He’s spent the morning packing up our delicious veg boxes. These are filled with a mix of surplus veggies saved from local supermarkets and our amazing supporters.
Stuffed with fruit, veg and herbs there's something to please everyone.

Cozy tunes & community connection are back with our Living Room Sessions!
​We’re so excited to host an intimate evening at Cafe Recharge featuring the incredible Lizabett Russo (with Nadja Khalil)! Join us for a warm, house-concert vibe filled with soul-nourishing live music, delicious food, and great company as we bring the community together once again.
​🍜 Light supper will be available to purchase on the night
🍷 BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) speciality coffees and soft drinks available.

​Thanks to CLLD funding, we’re thrilled to welcome the amazing Joy Parker to Cafe Recharge for a Mosaic Workshop! Expect a brilliant afternoon of breaking things, creating something gorgeous, and having a proper blether over a cuppa.

🎲 Board Games Evening at Café Recharge!
​Looking for something fun to do on a Friday night? Join us for our monthly Board Game Night, a great way to bring the local community together, disconnect from screens, and meet new people in a warm, relaxed space!

​📅 When: Friday 30th October, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM (and every month after!)

📍 Where: Café Recharge, 58 Island Street, Galashiels, TD1 1NU

👥 Who: Adults (18+) interested in a board games social

🎟️ Entry: £5 donation (Includes tea, coffee, biscuits & 3 hours of board game fun! Specialty coffees, hot chocolate, and extra snacks will also be available to buy on the night.)

​Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or just love a casual card game, we’ve got you covered. We'll provide a wide range of games and friendly hosts to help explain the rules, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own favourites along too!
