This Learning Disabilities Week, we’re challenging the stereotypes and assumptions that often shape how people with learning disabilities are seen

Jixie, one of the people we support in Greater Manchester, wrote a book and then went on to become a published author, with her work now available online on Amazon, WHSmiths and Waterstones. Her Welsh Witch series includes ‘The Welsh Witch’ and ‘The Welsh Witch and the Queen’s Curse’. Her journey is a powerful example of breaking down barriers and showing what’s possible when people are supported to follow their passions.
