👻🎃CLACKMAE FARM🎃👻

Our young people from Stow Youth Club had an amazing time at Clackmae Farm today!

A fan favourite was definitely spending some (upside down) time at the hay bale area!🤗

We have taken groups to Clackmae Farm for the past 3 years - such a great day out for all ages!

Stow Youth Club runs every Wednesday at Stow Town Hall from 18:00-19:30 for P6-S3s from Stow, Fountainhall, Heriot and surrounding areas🌟

Today some of our P6/7 and Langlee young people went on a trip to Edinburgh to Ninja Kids.
We got the train from Gala, walked along to Ninja kids, bounced, walked back, returned on the train and finished the day with a McDonalds!

It’s safe to say we all had a flipping good time!

🧁 £200 raised for a fantastic local cause! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our TD1 Youth Ambassadors’ bake sale today, especially those who braved the rain to come along! ☔

We’re delighted to have raised £200 for the 7 Schools, 7 Hearts Defibrillator Appeal!

As well as making a great financial contribution, today was about raising awareness of an important cause that could help save lives in our community.

A special thank you to our young people Amy, Lexi, Chloe and Lillie, who helped plan, bake, organise and sell throughout the day. They really showed the best of Gala’s young people, giving their time and energy to make a positive difference. We’re incredibly proud of them! 💙

Thanks again to everyone who bought something, donated or stopped by to show their support.

Today’s drop in featured a Mac n Cheese making masterclass 🧀

Lexi and Lola cheffed up a storm, weighing out ingredients, grating cheese, making their own roux for the cheese sauce and baking in the oven to get a crispy golden top.
They served it up with garlic bread and pizza 🇮🇹

Did you know we work with around 250 young people each month across our projects? Over the whole of last year, we supported more than 400 individual young people.

Since schools went back, it’s been busy at TD1. We’ve been creating opportunities for young people, offering support and making sure they have a safe, welcoming place to spend time.

We have plenty planned over the next six months, starting with October holiday activities including escape rooms, pumpkin picking, bowling, horse riding and more!

Our evening drop-ins will also stay open as normal throughout the October holidays:
• Monday to Thursday: 6pm to 8:30pm
• Fridays: 6pm to 9:30pm

New to TD1? Drop us a message. Young people and parents/carers are always welcome to pop in, meet the team and find out more.

As always, everything we do at TD1 is free.

Creating Opportunities. Shaping Futures.
