Scottish Borders RapeCrisis Centre Free and confidential emotional and practical support, information and advocacy to survivors of sexual violence. The centre is run by women for women.

We support women aged 18+ and young people of any gender/gender identity aged 12-18. Scottish Borders R**e Crisis Centre opened in July 2010 and provides emotional and practical support and information to women and girls aged 12 and over who have experienced r**e or sexual violence in their lives. This includes sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and other forms of sexual violence.

We’re delighted to receive funding from the Scottish Children’s Lottery, helping us continue our Unity service, which offers specialist sexual violence support to all young people aged 12-18. Alongside specialist support, we provide activities and volunteering opportunities for young survivors. This grant will enable young people to connect, build confidence, and have their voices heard. We’re incredibly grateful for this award.
