At the end of April we took a creative walk along to Mushroom Bridge with as part of the Galashiels Walking Festival.
We stopped to take pictures playfully and doodle with chalks, whilst asking what the possibilities could be for these spaces and what we could imagine.

🔊A few weeks ago, our Culture Collective Project Coordinator Kerry Jones presented our ‘Imagine Galashiels’ ambitions and ideas to the Galashiels Town Team.

🖍 Kerry passed round our ‘Places of Possibilities’ cards, just one of the ways we will be gathering ideas to collaboratively explore over the next 18 months, alongside walks, gatherings, events, creative sessions, interventions and space activations.

🤩We loved the ideas that were discussed and that can come when we ask, ‘What if?’ Imagining vibrant, inclusive futures for Galashiels, micro and macro ideas that can spark exciting possibilities!

Join Artist, Coz Harrison ( aka Eyesorecozza) for an enjoyable afternoon walk and ‘Anything is possible’ imaginative thinking.

We’ll meet at here at The Hub then walk along the Black Path towards Galafoot and back to Hike & Bike via the Public Park, finding ‘Places of Possibilites’ – from tiny places for creativity to spaces for vibrant community events.

Places of Possibilites is the second walk in a series of events, gatherings and workshops generously funded by the Hayward Sanderson Trust to creatively ‘Imagine Galashiels’.

No creative expereince or background needed just curiosity !

What a wonderful way to wrap our final session here on Channel Street as Little Art Hub moves to it's new home (just up the road, don't panic).
One of our in house artists .va demonstrated her beautiful watercolour skills to a group of keen artists with some lovely results. Everyone is now keen for more so watch this space!

Please be aware that we will be moving to our new location over the next couple of weeks. If anyone has left anything at the Hub, please do get in touch to arrange a collection.

Our next Places of Possibilities walk on Sunday 26th April starting at at 11am. Walk with us as we explore along the Black Path towards Mushroom Bridge as we ask questions about creativity and possibility along the way.
It's free to come along but we just ask if you can register your place on our Eventbrite page. Coz aka will be leading the walk this time with a particular eye on the potential for and existing Street Art in the Borders.

We're delighted to be exhibiting some of the fantastic works made during our free Spark and Imagine Galashiels workshops during 2025/6 in what will be our last exhibition at 17 Channel St before we move to our new larger venue in town at the end of April !!
