Two weeks to go!

Our Gathering meetings happen online as we dont all live on the West anymore 😔

We are missing a couple of committee members tonight, but this is us, a very small crew who are responsible for organising the event. All volunteers.

It is a gigantic effort and these guys put in a big shift to make it happen. We have been meeting every Tuesday for the past few weeks now to ensure we are on top of everything. I really hope we are 😬

This year's Gathering will be a wee bit different with live music throughout the day, we dont have main ring attractions but some side activities and stands.

We cant wait to welcome you all and see our months of hard work come together to, we hope, create a fun day out for all ages.

It's shaping up to be a busy summer, and we're looking forward to bringing Ceilidh Tots to some new places!

Following feedback, we'll have live music in the Big Green Shed instead of main ring entertainment, we hope creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day and evening.

FRIDAY 3RD & SATURDAY 4TH JULY

We haven't always been blessed with kind weather; the past 3 years we have had everything the weather can throw at us:

Strong Winds
Torrential Rain
Generally Cold
Occasionally warm
Sometimes sunny
Often not
But.........................no midgies!

It hasn't always been bad and we have enjoyed plenty sunny days too.

Who knows what the 2026 Gathering weather will be but one thing I know for sure, no matter the weather there are plenty of hardy folk out there that get the waterproofs on and come out and support the event with smiles on their faces and that we are truly grateful for!
