Work has continued down at the marsh. We hired a bigger machine which made light work of scrapping the ponds. Also, the new pond opposite the ditch was dug out deeper and made bigger.
A conservation area has been cleared in the trees. Also 6 new scrapes cleared on the left hand side of the bridge.
Shooting was great last year hopefully even better this year!

It’s been a busy couple of months. We had a stall at Winterton Show, offering game samples and a clay shoot simulator which proved popular. We also held a clay shoot at Blyton clay ground. This was for people who had never shot before and wanted a go. They all really enjoyed the day and it was a great success. Looking forward to doing the same again next year!

Cracking flight on the marsh again, lots of geese about and Daz bagged one.

The marsh is looking good, filled up nicely and plenty of birds about.

Great 1st evening flight of the season down at the marsh tonight. Lots of ducks about, some geese. Bagged 4 mallard between us both, dog earned his tea 😄, could have had plenty more!

Major improvements have started down the marsh, just need a good high tide to fill it up.
