Last Thursday, Benjamin Adlard Primary welcomed some very special visitors from AMP Rose for an exciting and inspiring assembly. The team came along to showcase one of the robots they use in their work!

The children were so excited to see the robot in action, and some even had the wonderful opportunity to try controlling it themselves, gaining hands-on experience and learning more about technology and engineering in a fun and interactive way.

A huge thank you to the team at AMP Rose!

Gemma delivered a clear and engaging presentation, using a well-prepared PowerPoint that was perfectly suited to the children’s level of understanding. She shared inspiring messages about the importance of dreaming big and working hard at school - values that are regularly encouraged across the school. On 10th March, pupils at Warren Wood Specialist Academy took part in an engaging and inspiring Aspirations Assembly led by Jeli Rose. He shared his journey to becoming a counsellor and therapist, offering valuable insights into his experiences and career path.

The children really enjoyed listening to his stories, and the highlight for many was having fun trying on the range of wigs he brought along! It was a memorable session that combined inspiration with plenty of laughter. 😊

šŸ“£ Over the next couple of weeks, 12 local primary schools will be hosting ā€œCoffee, Cake and a Slice of Careers Conversation.ā€

Local careers specialists from Complete-Careers LLP will be running workshops for parents and carers, helping them feel more confident having conversations with their children about the future. These sessions aim to support children’s hopes and aspirations, making them aware of the thousands of possibilities open to them.

Thanks to the generosity of the Thonock Trust and Lincolnshire Community Fund, all parents who attend will receive a free copy of ā€œThe Bonkers Book of Jobs,ā€ so the conversations can continue at home.
