🎨 The Gainsborough Aspiration Project has partnered with Benjamin Adlard School, West Lindsey District Council, Gainsborough Pride in Place and Imageskool to deliver an exciting community arts project that has seen Year 4 pupils work alongside artist James to design and paint the underpass on Sandsfield Lane.

By giving children the opportunity to shape their local environment, this project has provided meaningful experiences in civic engagement, arts and culture, while helping to build a stronger sense of pride in place.

A fantastic example of young people making a positive and lasting contribution to their community!

Is your child starting Reception in September 2027?

Choosing the right primary school is an exciting milestone. This event, organised by Lincolnshire County Council and The Gainsborough Aspiration Project, gives parents and carers the opportunity to meet teachers from local primary schools across the Gainsborough area, all in one place.

You'll also be able to chat to the local Early Years Specialist Teacher about SEND support and school readiness, as well as the Best Start Family Hub team about the services and support available to families.

Over 300 Year 6 pupils to get IMPowered for the next big step ⚽

This week, more than 300 Year 6 pupils from across 11 primary schools in West Lindsey will take part in Lincoln City Foundation’s IMPowered workshops, a programme designed to support young people as they prepare for their transition from primary to secondary school.

The sessions will bring together pupils who are likely to attend the same secondary schools in September, helping them meet new peers and build confidence ahead of this important step. The activities will focus on teamwork, resilience, confidence and communication skills, and will take place in primary schools across the district.

This was delivered through collaboration between The Gainsborough Aspiration Project , Lincoln City Foundation, and West Lindsey District Council, with funding from the School Games programme.

The Gainsborough Aspiration Project, Heritage Lincolnshire, and West Lindsey District Council are delighted to be partnering with local schools to create Gainsborough's own Top Trumps card game.

This unique opportunity is enabling our young people to discover more about their local heritage alongside developing their sense of 'Pride in Place' for Gainsborough. We can't wait to see the finished product!

📣 We are delighted to be working with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils on an exciting community project in partnership with West Lindsey District Councill and Heritage Lincolnshire.

Together, we will create a set of Gainsborough Top Trumps cards celebrating the town’s history and important landmarks. We can’t wait to see the children’s ideas and creativity bring this project to life!

Next week, our Year 5 and 6 children have a fantastic opportunity to be part of something really special!

They will be working alongside the Gainsborough Aspiration Project, the West Lindsey District Council and Heritage Lincolnshire to create a unique set of Gainsborough Top Trump cards 🎴

These cards will celebrate the rich history and important places in our town — a brilliant chance for pupils to explore and showcase the historic environment of Gainsborough.

Last Thursday, Benjamin Adlard Primary welcomed some very special visitors from AMP Rose for an exciting and inspiring assembly. The team came along to showcase one of the robots they use in their work!

The children were so excited to see the robot in action, and some even had the wonderful opportunity to try controlling it themselves, gaining hands-on experience and learning more about technology and engineering in a fun and interactive way.
