Rotary has since grown internationally to more tha

“Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves”
—PAUL HARRIS founder
Our organisation started when Paul Harris, a Chicago attorney, had an idea of forming a club where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the early practice of rotating meetings between the offices of each member. In 1914 the organisation moved across the Atlantic and the British Association of Rotary Clubs was established. The association was renamed Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland in 1924. Today Rotary continues to respond to the needs of an ever changing world, whilst retaining its strong founding principles.

Scarborough Rotary 1040 are "Always Where We Need Them To Be" when it comes to supporting Saint Catherine’s 💛

They will once again be collecting in aid of us ahead of The Kooks concert at Scarborough Open Air Theatre TOMORROW (Thurs 18th June) 👏

You’ll find them at the Peasholm Park entrance from 6pm – 8pm before you head "Seaside" for what promises to be a fantastic evening 🎵

And honestly… you’d be "Naive" not to bring along some spare change 😉💛 Supporting Saint Catherine’s is one "Bad Habit" we’re very happy to encourage!

A huge thank you to Scarborough Rotary for their continued support and generosity. They really do things in their own way and we’re so grateful for everything they do for our patients and families 💛
