A Year On – An Update from Jason’s Cause
Today marks one year to the day since Jason’s life changed forever. It’s an odd, emotional day—one that naturally brings reflection. It would be easy to dwell on the pain, the challenges, and the mountain Jason has had to climb over the past 12 months. It hasn’t been an easy road by any measure.
But more than anything, today is a reminder of Jason’s strength, courage, and unshakeable determination. Over the past year, I’ve watched my brother push through pain, smash personal milestones, and face each new day with bravery and purpose. Not only has he made phenomenal progress in his physical rehabilitation, but he’s also thrown himself wholeheartedly into a global mission to change the industry and save lives.
Jason’s story is making waves. And real change is happening.
Dozens of manufacturers of carbon-fibre water-fed poles have now agreed to insulate two sections of their poles, instead of just one—a direct result of Jason’s tireless campaigning. This is a huge victory, and it means the industry is taking the steps needed to protect more window cleaners from the dangers Jason faced.
Jason continues to share his story on an international stage, warning others, raising awareness, and making an impact that none of us could have imagined a year ago.
We’re so incredibly proud of him. And we’re deeply thankful to every single person who has supported Jason, donated, shared his story, or stood by us this past year.
It’s been one hell of a journey—and we’re only just getting started.
