Frodsham Music and Arts Club is one of the longest established and most successful organisations of its type in the region. Its good fortune can be attributed to offering a variety of high quality intelligent entertainment for the culturally minded at a price that is readily affordable. An additional asset is its attractive venue where performer and audience facilities contribute significantly to
the professional yet informal and friendly environment. The Club has now become a favoured performance location by a number of established artists and as a result is fortunate to enjoy various special relationships to the benefit of all concerned. Enhancement of the Club's annual programmes over recent years from six to nine events per season has coincided with steady growth in membership. Associated Activites
Coach outings to musical happenings throughout the region are organised in association with the Club. Popular among these are trips to the art deco splendour of Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra is of world class standard due to their young Russian chief conductor, in great demand world-wide, who has given presentations at the Club on two occasions. Many international musicians perform with the orchestra and special arrangements have allowed trippers to meet artists and to attend rehearsals. The number participating has enabled special prices to be obtained for good seat positions in the hall making the inclusive cost extremely attractive - music at its best almost on your doorstep. Inclusive door-to-door music holidays in the UK, and abroad by air, have also been offered in association with the Club. Glyndebourne, London, Prague and Vienna have been visited, but favourite is the often repeated journey to the Salzburg region of Austria where so many superb locations and activities exist in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and where the great composer Mozart was born.
