Look particularly fetching in a hi-vis vest? Frodsham needs you!

We’re looking for volunteer road marshals on Saturday 28th November to help our Christmas festival parade go ahead safely. 🎄

You’ll help keep the parade route clear by preventing traffic from entering through assigned minor roads.

Here’s what you need to know:

🦺 You’ll be needed from 4.30–7.30pm
🦺 A full safety briefing will take place at 4.30pm
🦺 A hi-vis vest and whistle will be provided
🦺 You’ll be assigned a minor road to help manage the closure

Our parade relies on volunteers, and without enough road marshals, it simply can’t go ahead. If you can spare your evening, you’ll be helping make a little Christmas magic happen for the whole community. ❤️

Ready to lend a hand? Email our chief elf of safety, Lisa, at [email protected] or sign up here:

You can also come along to our volunteer open evening on Wednesday 21st October at 7.30pm at Frodsham Community Centre.

Meet the team, ask questions and chat about the different roles to find out how you could get involved. We’d love to see you there!

Calling all Frodsham Elves and Reindeer!

We are looking to recruit some community minded young people aged 14-18 and young at heart adults who would like to be an elf or a reindeer at the Frodsham Christmas Festival.

This is a volunteer post for the afternoon and evening on Saturday 28th of November and requires one hours attendance at elf training school. For elf well-being we recommend you bring a friend so spread the word!

Elves work in teams at the festival and have a designated DBS volunteer nearby looking out for their elf and safety.

It's an opportunity to connect with other elves, enjoy a busy community event and looks great on CV's and UCAS applications.

Santa can provide full uniform, but you will need to bring your own sense of humour and Christmas spirit!

Interested in volunteering but want to find out more?

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to lend a hand with setting up and keeping the festival running smoothly. Could you join us?

We need help on Friday 27th November setting up, and on Saturday 28th November, we need support from early morning and throughout the day with:

⭐ Setting up before the festival begins
⭐ Helping stallholders find their pitches and directing them to parking
⭐ Monitoring queues and keeping things moving
⭐ Supporting the Information Desk
⭐ Helping visitors with questions and directions

Christmas is coming… and we need YOU to help us bring the Christmas magic to Frodsham! ❤️

Our festival is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers, and this year we need a few extra pairs of hands to help us make the day run smoothly.

🎅 There are lots of different ways you can get involved:

✨ Christmas Elves – help spread the Christmas cheer
👋 General Event Support – lend a hand wherever needed
🚶 Queue Management – help keep things moving
📍 Directional Volunteers – help visitors find their way around
💪 Set-Up Crew – a bit of muscle needed on Friday and Saturday morning
🚧 Road Marshals – help us keep everyone safe during the road closures
🎅 Grotto Set-Up – help us get the grotto ready for Santa on Friday
📦 Grotto Pack-Down – help us pack everything away on Sunday after Santa has left!

You don't have to commit to the whole day – even a few hours of your time can make a huge difference.

While we've been enjoying the sunshine here in the UK, our friends in Australia are wrapping up warm for their magical Christmas in July celebrations! Canberra and Sydney are embracing all the magic of a winter Christmas. From sparkling lights and festive markets to steaming hot chocolate, cosy winter vibes, snowy moments and warming mulled w**e,

Seeing all those festive celebrations has certainly got the Frodsham Christmas Festival team feeling inspired as we continue planning another wonderful day for our community.
