This evening our Squirrels completed their first outdoor session, a hike along the Room on the Broom trail in the forest!

They had a fantastic time following the trail while completing an activity sheet.

Well done Squirrels! 🐿

This evening our Cubs planted up the new teasel bed at the Norley Memorial Garden. We discussed how these plants will grow and why they benefit the natural environment around us. 🪏 🌱

We look forward to watching these grow into next season and beyond.

Many thanks to Norley Wildlife Group for inviting us and allowing our Cubs to contribute to this community project. We hope to help with more projects in the future.

Many thanks to the crew of The Danny - Daniel Adamson for sharing their time and expertise with our Cubs on Monday! 🚢

We had a great evening touring the steamship and learning about it's heritage, and how it is maintained to ensure it's still running 123 years after it was built!

The Cubs got to ring the bow bell, explore the helm, throw a heaving line and explore below deck. 🔔 🪢

Another brilliant night at Beavers this Thursday!

We got stuck into recycling, clean water and made our very own forest water filters — messy, noisy and absolutely brilliant! ♻️

Big thanks to all our Beavers, parents and leaders for making it happen. Next week: endangered animals and fair trade! 🐘 🌍
