The sun’s shining today, it’s Sunday, and there’s a whole new week sitting in front of us. ☀️

And I quite like that thought.

Seven days we haven’t lived yet.

Conversations we haven’t had. People we haven’t met. Things we haven’t laughed at. Opportunities we don’t even know are coming yet.

We spend a lot of time worrying about what might go wrong, and our brains are brilliant at inventing scenarios that haven’t happened.

So today, let’s give a bit of space to what might go RIGHT.

Maybe this is the week you get some good news.

Maybe you finally do that thing you’ve been putting off.

Maybe somebody surprises you.

Maybe you surprise yourself.

Or maybe nothing massive happens at all, but there are good conversations, sunshine, music, decent coffee, a few laughs and moments that remind you life is actually pretty bloody good sometimes.

You don’t need to have the whole week planned out today.

Enjoy your Sunday. Get outside if you can. Recharge the batteries a little.

Tomorrow we go again.

And let’s go into this one expecting there might just be something good waiting for us. 💚

Have a brilliant Sunday.

Much love,
Nathan

We have a strange habit of only recognising progress when there’s something big to show for it.

New job. Weight lost. Money saved. Relationship sorted. Goal achieved.

But a lot of the progress we make in life is almost invisible.

It’s biting your tongue when the old you would have reacted.

Saying no without writing a three-page apology afterwards. 😂

Getting out of bed on a day when you really couldn’t be arsed.

Recognising a pattern a little earlier than you did last time.

Walking away from something that isn’t good for you.

Making the phone call. Going for the walk. Having the conversation. Asking for help. Or simply getting through a difficult week without being quite as hard on yourself as you normally are.

None of that comes with a certificate.

Nobody necessarily notices.

But it counts.

We’re very good at looking at how far we’ve still got to go and completely ignoring how far we’ve already come.

So have a think today…

What do you handle differently now than you would have done a year ago?

There might be more progress there than you realise. 💚

Much love,
Nathan

“I’m alright, mate.”

Two words most of us blokes have probably said a thousand times.

And sometimes we genuinely are.

Other times it means, “There’s loads going on, but I haven’t got a clue where to start explaining it.”

That’s exactly why the men’s group exists.

You don’t need to be struggling. You don’t need to prepare anything. You don’t even have to talk if you don’t want to.

Come upstairs, have a drink, have a laugh, listen, talk about life… whatever you need that evening.

No judgement. No pressure. Just a room full of ordinary blokes having real conversations.

We’re upstairs at Kash 22, Church Street, Frodsham tonight, 7pm–9pm.

Never been before? You’re more than welcome. Just turn up. 💚

Much love,
Nathan

Sometimes struggling doesn't look like someone crying and telling you they're not okay.

Sometimes it looks like them being snappy.

Irritable. Quiet. Distant. Cancelling plans again. Not answering messages. Sleeping more. Sleeping less. Losing interest in things they normally enjoy. Drinking more than usual. Not looking after themselves quite as well. Making jokes that have a little more truth behind them than you realised.

Sometimes they just seem… different.

And it's very easy from the outside to take some of those things personally.

"He's being a miserable bastard lately."

"She never bothers anymore."

"They keep cancelling, so I'll stop asking."

But sometimes behaviour is communication too.

It doesn't mean every bad mood is a cry for help, and it doesn't mean we have to diagnose each other. It just means that occasionally it's worth being curious instead of immediately being pi**ed off.

"You're not quite yourself lately. Are you alright?"

And if they say, "Yeah, I'm fine"… maybe ask twice.

Because one of the strange things about struggling is that the moment you most need to reach out can also be the moment reaching out feels hardest.

You don't want to burden anybody.
You don't know what to say.
You think other people have enough going on.
You don't want people worrying.
You tell yourself you'll feel better tomorrow.

So you say nothing.

That's why checking in matters.

And it doesn't need to be some huge, serious conversation.

"Fancy a brew?"
"Want to go for a walk?"
"I've noticed you've gone a bit quiet lately."
"No pressure to talk, but I'm here."
"Just checking in. How are you, really?"

And then actually listen.

We can't always know what somebody else is carrying. We can't fix everything for each other either.

But we can notice.

We can ask.

We can ask twice.

And we can make it a little easier for somebody to say, "Actually… I'm not doing great."

Think of someone you've not properly checked in with for a while.

Don't just like this post.

Message them.

You never know when a simple "How are you?" might arrive at exactly the right time.

Much love,
Nathan ❤️

There's a difference between making a mistake and finding yourself thinking, "Hang on… haven't I been here before?" 😂

We can give ourselves a hard time when we repeat something we thought we'd already learned from. But beating yourself up doesn't usually teach you very much.

Curiosity might.

What were you feeling? What did you need? What were you avoiding? What were you hoping would happen? What made that same choice seem like a good idea again?

Sometimes understanding ourselves is far more useful than judging ourselves.

Your mistakes aren't just evidence of where you've gone wrong. They can also leave clues about what needs to change.

So here's one for today: think of a mistake or choice you've repeated. Instead of asking yourself, "What's wrong with me?" ask, "What's this trying to teach me?"

You might get a very different answer.

Know someone who keeps ending up in the same bloody place? Send this to them. 👀😂

27/08/2026

We’re funny creatures. We can know EXACTLY what keeps getting us into the same situation… and then somehow find ourselves there again thinking, “Oh for **** sake, not this again.” 😂

The thing is, knowing a pattern exists isn’t always enough to change it. Sometimes the useful bit is working out what happens just before it.

Are you stressed? Lonely? Angry? Bored? Feeling guilty? Looking for comfort? Trying to avoid something?

That’s where you might find the opportunity to do something differently.

And don’t expect yourself to suddenly become perfect at it. Changing old habits and reactions takes practice. Sometimes the win isn’t never doing it again — it’s noticing sooner, stopping earlier, or making a slightly different choice than you did last time.

That’s still progress.

What’s one pattern in your own life you’re currently trying to change? 👇

Bit of a public service announcement… romance is not just for the first six months and foreplay is not something you suddenly remember exists at 10:47pm. 😂

Connection is built throughout the day. It's the daft little messages, making each other laugh, affection for no particular reason, noticing when they've made an effort, a compliment that isn't followed by a request… 👀

It's about making the person you're with feel noticed, appreciated and wanted — not simply assuming they know because you've been together for years.

Relationships get busy. Life gets busy. It's easy to become comfortable and forget to actively show the things we still feel.

So here's today's challenge: do something completely unnecessary for the person you love. No birthday. No anniversary. No ulterior motive. Just because.

And if you're in a relationship, tell me: what little thing makes YOU feel most loved or wanted? 👇❤️

26/08/2026

I've had quite a few conversations with men who genuinely love and value the woman they're with… but somewhere along the way, they've stopped showing it.

Not because they don't care. Life gets busy, relationships become comfortable, routines take over and sometimes we just stop doing the little things we did naturally at the beginning.

But those little things aren't actually little.

The kiss for no reason. The compliment. The message during the day. Remembering something she told you. Making her laugh. Telling her you love her — and occasionally explaining WHY. Buying flowers when you haven't even done anything wrong… imagine that. 😂

Affection, attention, appreciation and feeling desired all help keep that connection alive.

And that's why I say foreplay doesn't start in the bedroom. It starts long before that — in how you make each other feel on an ordinary Wednesday.

So lads, I'm throwing this one over to the women…

What are the little things a man does — or you wish he'd do more often — that make you feel genuinely loved, appreciated or wanted?

Let's help the lads out. 😂👇
