Always Another Way Improving Mental Wellbeing in West Cumbria.

The police have given us information about a WhatsApp group that many children in West Cumbria have joined called "100 before 2027".

We would strongly urge all parents and carers to check their child’s phone to ensure they are not accessing or participating in this discussion and if necessary block the group.

Currently there is very little known about this chat, however it is known to encourage self harm and su***de. Police have been made aware of this through a Facebook post from a concerned parent.

If your child has joined the group or if you have any information about this group, please report this directly to the police.

Last week our Mental Wellbeing Support Worker, Helen, created a paper chain filled with positive affirmations hidden on the inside with her student client💖

Each link contains encouraging words to remind our student how amazing, strong, and valued she is.
The chain will be hung in her bedroom as a daily reminder of just how awesome she is ✨

Activities like this support emotional wellbeing by encouraging positive self-talk, building confidence, and promoting self-worth 🌈
