Freystrop Fun Day will now take place at Freystrop Village Hall.

As the hall has limited space, we are unfortunately unable to hold the Dog Show and it has been cancelled. All other activities will continue as planned.

We look forward to welcoming you to a great day of fun and fundraising.

Pembrokeshire Youth services are asking for your full support in ensuring that all young people are encouraged and supported to complete the following survey: Safe Voices, Safe Places - Listening to Young People, Shaping Safer Communities – Fill in form ( https://forms.office.com/e/456SRYyu2A )

This survey will run until May 29th and is a really important opportunity for young people to share their views, experiences, and opinions about:
- Where they spend their time
- How safe they feel in their local area
- What they like to do in their free time, particularly during the summer holidays

The information gathered will help us better understand what is currently working well and where improvements are needed for children and young people across the county.

It is a priority we hear directly from as many young people as possible. A strong response rate means we can build a clearer and more accurate picture of young people’s experiences across the county.

We would really appreciate everyone prioritising this and supporting us to achieve the highest response rate possible.

Thank you all for your continued support and commitment.

Further work on our raised beds.

The trellis is in place. We have clematis, honeysuckle and a label-lost pot of climbers for the north part. Beans and peas will keep the edible theme behind the herbs bed.

This will be a lovely place to sit. It may take us time to find a suitable grant to buy a seat(s) for this area. Can anyone help?

You've been wondering what was going to happen to the packaging left over from the climbing frame.

It is the start of a herb & medicinal plant bed.

A few items have gone in: Fennel, Figwort, Prostrate Rosemary, Feverfew, Vetch, Chives, Cultivated & Wild Strawberries and Common Thyme. There's a pot of Mint too.

Give it a few weeks and a bit more tlc and it's going to look fabulous.

The Freystrop Village Hall & Playing Field Management Committee are pleased to announce the completion of the installation of the new Climbing Frame at PHFRP.

Many residents were dismayed when a lot of the climbing equipment was deemed unsafe and was removed without warning from the play area in 2019. A small team has worked hard over the past 5 years to co-ordinate improvements to our recreation area. Today we reach another milestone.

We are grateful for the support of Freystrop Community Council in allowing us to seek funding via the National Lottery and to the lottery for giving us the grant.

If you wish to be part of a team working towards improving life in the Freystrop Community please think about joining this friendly committee. Keep an eye out for meeting announcements or if you know who we are have a chat.
