A wonderful afternoon at Chavenage House today! Big thanks to Jackie for organising - and also to our volunteer drivers who helped to get us all there :)

Fans of TV series such as Poldark and Rivals may recognise the location (near Tetbury). It really is a lovely place, owned by the hospitable and welcoming Lowsley-Williams family since 1891, it dates back to Tudor times. A fascinating place to visit!

Happy Neurodiversity Celebration Week! This week is a dedicated time to recognise and celebrate the neurodiverse community.

It is a great opportunity to educate yourself on neurodiversity and learn how you can support neurodiverse people.

We have a range of resources you can use, like our 'Guide for Neurotypicals: Understanding Autistic and ADHD women and girls' and our Thinking Differently zine which offers insights on the gendered differences in autism and ADHD. Check them out here: https://www.thewi.org.uk/campaigns/key-and-current-campaigns/thinking-differently

Through awareness and inclusion, we can ensure that neurodiverse people feel comfortable and celebrated.

Our February speaker (Tues 24th) is one not to miss! Biljana Hutchinson is coming to talk to us about her former role as UN Peace Building Programme Director - Biljana has spent time working overseas in this role, often in war zones including Afghanistan, so is likely to have some gripping tales to tell!
