More donations taken to the Gloucestershire Night Angels this week. They are looking at expanding into Bristol! They do an amazing job but are always looking for donations for their 2 charity shops (1 in Gloucester and 1 in Stroud). As well as raising funds for the amazing work they do, these shops also act as points of contact for women in an emergency situation. Gloucester is: The Night Angel Shop, Clarence Walk, Gloucester (on the corner of Kings Walk and Clarence Street.

We need Angels for both Stroud Town and Gloucester City. We start at 11pm and we finish around 3-4 am, depending on need.

Getting things ready for The Nelson Trust, Bristol collection this week.....

30 filled Happy Handbags went to The Nelson Truston Trust Swindon on Wednesday (22/4) along with 12 sacks/bags of clothing etc. Yesterday I spent a lovely couple of hours with St Stephens Ladies (church) in Soundwell telling them about Happy Handbag including information on the work being done by The Nelson Trust, Family Haven, The Gloucestershire Night Angels and the Police Bluestone Operation. Of course not forgetting all the donations given by individuals, ladies groups and the support of Big Yellow Self Storage Gloucester. We are a team!

In addition to Family Haven (Gloucester) and the Nelson Trust Centres (Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol, Bridgwater, Newport and Eastwood Park), support and Happy Handbag donations are also given to Avon & Somerset Police Force thorough Operation Bluestone and The Gloucestershire Night Angels teams in Gloucester, Stroud and Swindon.
The Gloucester City Night Angels charity shop also act as a collection point for Happy Handbag donations of toiletries and underwear for the Happy Handbags, as does the Second Chance Charity shop in Cirenecester.
We work together to help those in need……..
To date 4,527 Happy Handbags have been distributed through these Service Providers plus 2,779 bags/sacks of clothing etc....
Huge thanks as always to Big Yellow Storage in Gloucester - still filled with empty handbags waiting to be filled!
