Well done Arya ❤️

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and the river crossing was impassable on Scafell Pike in the storm ☔️ even if we had of made it across the river we were facing 50mph winds and torrential sideways rain on dangerously slippery slopes in the dark

Arya reached the summits of Ben Nevis & Snowdon within 24 hours, spent 11 hours moving as quickly as she could on the mountains stepping around 80,000 steps on either incline or decline and around 4 hours were spent moving forward in absolutely brutal weather

Totally gutted about the weather as Arya definitely had it in the tank but safety comes first & we can try again another time 🩷

Just arrived at Scafell & met our guide - it’s impossible to climb until maybe mid morning tomorrow as they have had so much rain (it’s still belting down) & the river is too high to cross 😭

Arya is so gutted but we can’t do anything about the weather unfortunately - onto Snowdon we go…. 🗻

Ben Nevis done… shortly before the summit the weather turned against us making the descent treacherous so we are now a few hours behind on time 🕰️

It was far harder coming down than going up as we were being battered by the weather & the rocks were so slippery, but Arya was a little trooper ✨

We have quickly changed out of our soaking wet clothes, now a 6 hour drive to Scafell Pike to begin mountain number two 💪

Ben Nevis current conditions with more snow due to fall - just ordered some crampons for us both
This will make it slightly trickier to complete all three within 24 hours but we will try our best! ❄️

Arya has stopped training and will be resting now until we begin the challenge

We have decided to avoid Scafell Pike in the darkness on the advice of others so will be starting Ben Nevis in the early hours of the 9th June & tackling Yr Wyddfa in the dark - a mountain we are familiar with ☺️
