Yesterday’s Youth Club session was a really lovely one. ☀️

We spent the afternoon outside enjoying the warm weather, playing boules and sharing a picnic together on the grass. There was plenty of laughter and the young people also taught us a game of squat tag, which quickly became very serious business! 😂

Sessions like these are a gentle reminder of how important safe, welcoming spaces can be — somewhere to relax, connect, and have fun without pressure.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday 💚

Tonight at Youth Club, we had a brilliant session focused on physical games — keeping active, moving around, and using teamwork and quick thinking to solve challenges! The young people absolutely loved it, and there was so much energy and laughter throughout the evening.

A huge thank you to Jason and Janice for leading such a fun and engaging session!

We also finally treated everyone to some long-requested comfort food favourites: homemade sausage rolls, chicken nuggets, and frittata — which went down very well with the group!

We’re definitely looking forward to the good weather and more great sessions ahead ☀️

Tonight at youth club, we finally made it back outdoors! Living in Fort William, we have to make the most of every dry day. ☀️ ☁️

We grabbed our sketch pads and charcoal and headed down to the pier, taking some time to draw what we could see. Some of our young people focused on the bigger picture, while others zoomed in on the finer details of the boats — and don’t they look fantastic? ⭐️

Just a quick reminder that there will be no youth club next week (12th May). We’ll be back the following week!

Tonight our youth club headed outdoors to make the most of the sunshine with a community litter pick. 🌞

We made our way from The Hub down to the shorefront by the yacht club, collecting an incredible 7 bags of litter along the way. Thanks to the hard work of our young people, the area is now looking lovely and tidy again!

Many of our group were genuinely surprised by how many beer cans and bottles we found — a powerful reminder of why caring for our local environment matters so much.

A big thank you to Nevis Landscape Partnership for kindly lending us gloves and litter pickers — we really appreciate your support and collaboration.

Well done to everyone involved! 💚

Youth Club is back—and what a fantastic night it was! 🎉

We were thrilled to introduce some brand new board games, and they were an instant hit with everyone. A big thank you to YoungStart Funding and Lochaber Hope for making this possible—we really appreciate your support!

We also had a great time in the kitchen making pizza pitta breads, with the wonderful Sara showing us how to create a delicious pizza base sauce. 🍕

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! See you all next week for our community litter pick—fingers crossed this sunny weather continues! ☀️

Happy Easter Holidays to all of our young people! 🐣 We hope you all had a lovely Sunday eating lots of chocolate. 🍫

This is just a small reminder there will be no Youth Club over the Easter holidays. We will return when the schools go back.

Enjoy your break!

To round off Term 3 at youth club, we stepped out into our community to spread a little kindness. 💛

Our young people created 12 beautiful Easter cards, each with a thoughtful message inside. We then went out and gifted them—along with small bouquets of flowers—to members of the public. The children absolutely loved carrying out these random acts of kindness, and the warm, heartfelt responses we received made it even more special.

Afterwards, we headed to the parade for an Easter egg hunt… and it’s safe to say, their competitive sides came out! Every egg was found before we made our way back to the Hub.

A huge thanks to our lovely volunteers, Janice and Jason, who we couldn’t do this without. 🧡

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter when it comes—enjoy your holidays, and we’ll see you in 2 weeks! 🐣🌸

We had a lovely, relaxing evening at youth club tonight, enjoying a film on the big screen 🎬

We watched The Lorax, tucked into some tasty picky bits (including yummy pizza 🍕), and treated ourselves to hot chocolate with cream ☕

A great time was had by all — see you next week!

On Tuesday we had lots of fun painting on canvas and creating beautiful pictures with bright colours! 🎨✨

The children really enjoyed getting creative, and we ended up with lots of lovely artwork to show for it. Their paintings are now proudly displayed on our board at the hub — and we think they look fantastic! 🖼️

A big well done to everyone who took part.

9 happy children and 3 happy volunteers! 😊

Tonight at youth club we were delighted to present Riley with his Hi-5 Award from Youth Scotland! 🎉

Riley is a valued member of our club 🌟 – incredibly creative and always ready to share a brilliant story or an interesting fun fact. We are so proud of his achievements and the positive energy he brings to our sessions.

This evening, our 10 young people also got creative by making their own collages using magazines and newspapers. It was fantastic to see how different each one turned out – so much imagination and individuality on display! ✂️📰

Thank you to everyone who came along. We look forward to seeing you all next week!
