Fort William Bike Shed is so proud of this scheme! The partnership with HITRANS enabled us to secure a way for people who have enjoyed borrowing trikes from our library to get their own long term trike solution! This in turn freed up our trikes for other users.

The HI-BIKE Inclusive Cycling Membership scheme enables people with mobility issues to receive a non-standard or adapted bike to keep at home and use exclusively for up to a year.

REFURBISHED BIKE SHOP- restock
Anyone looking for bikes in the last few weeks will know that we were running super low on stock! When the weather finally showed signs improvement, everyone suddenly needed a bike and with one mechanic down in April we quickly ran short. Thankyou for your patience! the mechanics and the stalwart volunteers rose to the challenge and we are now busy rebuilding stock, we're still a bit short on kids bikes but lots of choice if you are a small adult in search of a hard tail. Also one very special find, donated by an exceedingly generous community member. Take a look at our shop to see what it is! One gorgeous bile looking for a new forever home!

Great to work together with Disability Sports and Active Schools to get everybody on bikes!
