From Monday 7th September, 12โ€“2pm, weโ€™ll be opening our doors every Monday for Soupโ€™s Up, a free communal lunch for everyone.

๐Ÿฒ Homemade soup & a roll

๐Ÿช Biscuits
๐Ÿ’› Good company (if you fancy it!)

There are no criteria and no questions asked. Soupโ€™s Up isnโ€™t about who does or doesnโ€™t โ€œneedโ€ a free lunch. Itโ€™s simply about sharing food, sharing a table and creating more opportunities for people to come together.

Pop in on your lunch break. Meet someone for a chat. Bring the family, we have a lovely kids area. Come on your own. Or find a quiet corner and enjoy a warm bowl of soup.

Itโ€™s finally timeโ€ฆ From next week, weโ€™ll be open ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐“๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐–๐ž๐๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐“๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆโ€“๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐ฉ๐ฆ at Lochaber Hope Community Hub.

Expect simple, homemade food along with hot drinks, all available on a donation basis.

But Hope Cafรฉ is about more than lunch and a cuppa.

We want it to be a relaxed, welcoming community space where you can meet a friend, get out of the house, enjoy some lunch, or simply find a quiet corner and sit for a while. ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ‚ Tomorrow is our busiest Friday at the Hub!๐Ÿ’œ

September has arrived, and you can already feel that little change in the air. The sunlight has a softer, golden hue, the rain somehow falls a little heavier, and thereโ€™s just a hint of autumn creeping in. ๐Ÿ

But tomorrow the Hub will be anything but quiet! Being the first Friday of the month, 'Energy and Housing drop ins' are back, and after missing them last week, weโ€™re very happy to have the Vintage Cafรฉ back too. โ˜•๐Ÿฐ

Hope Cafe open today! 11am -2.30 pm .

This is our final pop up cafe before we officially open on Tuesday next week!

Come and try our delicious home made cakes or get some lunch. Our cafe is donation based and open to everyone.

Today we also have the Repair Cafe running, a photo exhibition from or youth summer programme and UHI are here to talk about some great opportunities they have to offer!

Tomorrow will be our last Hope Cafรฉ pop-up before we officially open our doors in September! ๐ŸŽ‰

From ๐“๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ–๐ญ๐ก ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ, Hope Cafรฉ will be ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง ๐“๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐“๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆโ€“๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐ฉ๐ฆ, offering simple homemade food including toasties, soups and cakes, along with hot drinks โ€“ all on a donation basis.

The cafรฉ will be an affordable, relaxed and welcoming space โ€“ somewhere to enjoy lunch, meet someone for a cuppa, or simply find a quiet corner to sit for a while. ๐Ÿ’›

Mondays will look a little different.

From Monday 7th September, weโ€™ll be hosting a ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ค๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, with soup and a roll, cuppas and biscuits available to everyone.

These Mondays arenโ€™t about who does or doesnโ€™t need a free lunch. Theyโ€™re simply about sharing a table and a community space, whatever your circumstances.

Come along on your lunch break, meet someone for a chat, bring the family, or find a quiet corner and enjoy a bowl of soup. Everyone is welcome.

Juliette is there representing us and looking forward to meeting pupils from high schools across Lochaber, chatting about future opportunities, career paths, and what itโ€™s like to work in our industry.

๐Ÿพ International Dog Day

Anyone who has ever been greeted at the door by a wagging tail knows that dogs can bring something pretty special to our lives.

Research suggests that spending time with dogs can support our wellbeing, encouraging connection and companionship, helping us respond to stress, getting us outside and sometimes simply being there when we need them.

No judgement. No expectations. Just company. โค๏ธ

And because itโ€™s International Dog Day, hereโ€™s my family dog, Loki, quite possibly the smartest and silliest dog I know. Heโ€™s sweet, boisterous, regularly forgets just how big he is and occasionally does things that make us question that โ€œsmartestโ€ title altogether! ๐Ÿ˜‚

All 44 kg (6 stone 13 lb) of him brings a huge amount of joy to our family. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’š
