Forres and District Pipe Band

Forres and District Pipe Band Forres Pipe Band is a traditional Scottish pipe band from the market town of Forres. We have a long tradition of piping and drumming.

The official page of Forres and District Pipe Band. Forres Pipe band was founded in 1920. The band along with the main pipe band also has a youth band. We also provide free weekly tuition with our annual come and try events before that years intake of youngsters. Forres and District Pipe Band are a charity operating in Scotland registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator under number SC041169

A great night was had by the Forres and District Pipe Band for the Forres Christmas Lights switch on, an annual event in our calendar and an excuse to get the instruments looking festive as well as the players.
We hope everyone enjoyed hearing the band, escorting Santa as he made his way down the High Street.
A great turnout for the Quiz night fundraiser, many thanks to all who attended a huge thanks for supporting the band we are very grateful.
