Lovely to spring a surprise on Phil Davies today as President Jim presents him with the Paul Harris fellowship for his work and commitment to Rotary. Our club would be poorer without his wicked sense of humour and sage advice; volunteers for everything regardless and really embodies the true Rotary spirit of Service above Self. He even brings the milk for the teas!! Well done Phil!!

Motorfun & Family Fun Day 🔥

As if the amazing vehicles, performances and entertainment weren’t enough… the Rotary Elgin BBQ will also be fired up on the day! 🌭🍔

Perfect if you fancy grabbing a burger or bite to eat while enjoying everything happening around Cooper Park.

There’ll be plenty of food options across the event, helping keep everyone fuelled for a fantastic family day out.

We are all overwhelmed after such a busy coffee morning and pop-up shop! Thankyou so much.. here we all are before the madness began!! Thanks to everyone who volunteered and came along to support us

Happy Saturday! Our 75th celebrations continue! Why not pop along to the town hall this morning for our coffee morning with a great choice of items on offer - stalls include chocolate, homebakes and a bottle tombola as well as a fabulous raffle; then why not go through to the Lesser Hall and browse the clothing and items on sale in our pop up shop with an extended bric-a-brac stall. We can’t wait to see you there ! Coffee and treats are pretty good too!!

Rotarians enjoyed a wonderful visit venturing just down the High Street to The House of Automata where Michael and Maria Start gave us a wonderful insight into their passion and lifelong dedication to working with automaton - from jigging sailors and arrow firing squires to moving animals, fabulous singing birds, dainty figurines and much more. We spent a wonderful hour in their amazing world. Definitely recommend for a visit - for children of all ages, the engineering prowess of the items, some nearly two hundred years old was really astonishing! We really enjoyed our visit and lots of folk have plans to go back! We left reluctantly but supper was calling and we then had a fabulous meal at the Ramnee Hotel where bar suppers and yummy puddings were waiting for us, with lots of good chat, we really enjoyed a wonderful evening!!
