Forres Town Hall, the home of Forres Area Community Trust invite you to an Extraordinary General Meeting

This meeting is open to all members, and non-members are also invited to attend - only members able to vote. If you know of anyone who would be interested in becoming a member ahead of the EGM, please ask them to get in touch with the reception volunteers or email [email protected] as soon as possible.

Just one week to go until our EGM, and we'd like to take the opportunity to introduce the FACT Board!

Our Board members are all volunteers, working hard behind the scenes to help shape a positive vision for FACT, the Town Hall, and our members. They are passionate about supporting our community and are looking forward to meeting members and the wider community next week.

The EGM is open to everyone, although only FACT members will be able to vote.

📣 OVER 40s AFTERNOON HOOLIE IN THE HALL

Following on from feedback, we have decided to make the Hoolie in the Hall exclusively for those over 40!

✨ Join JP the DJ for another FACT afternoon Hoolie in the Hall, especially for all those over 40! 😄

📆 Saturday 18th July from 2pm-6pm

🎶 With musical bingo and a raffle, lots of fun is guaranteed!

🍾 BYOB and snacks
Over 40s ONLY

🎟 Tickets £15 available for Forres Town Hall Mon-Fri 10am-3pm

🥫🍞 The Forres Pantry, organised by Forres Area Community Trust (FACT), pops up every week in Forres Town Hall

⏰ 2pm - 3.30pm every Friday.

🛒 £3 for up to 8 items - 1 set of shopping per household

ℹ️ Volunteers collect surplus food to avoid items that can be used being thrown away

✅ We have partnered with different local shops to reduce Food Waste including:
- Boots, Iceland & Tesco Forres Superstore in the Community via the OLIO - Share More, Waste Less
- Coop shops in Grantown Road & the High Street via their Caboodle Scheme
- Lidl via the Neighbourly Scheme

✅ We also receive donations from Moray Food Plus, Forres Friends of Woods and Fields, Mandala Garden Project and our new donor, Venilicious, to support this Project

😃 Pop in and see what has been collected by our friendly team of FACT Volunteers this week

😃 We look forward to welcoming you so that we can help you stretch your household budget and help to reduce Food Waste
