Meet the people behind the wheel! 🚌👨‍✈️

Our community transport provision wouldn’t be possible without our small team of minibus drivers. They do so much more than get people from A to B - providing a friendly face, a helping hand and keeping our community connected.

First up is Alan, who explains why he enjoys driving Clyde:

“I have lived in the northeast of Scotland for 22 years and have been driving Clyde, both diesel and electric, for about 18 months. I enjoy meeting the lovely passengers that use the community bus and having a good banter with them all. You can listen to many genres of music on the bus whilst taking a tour around the lovely area we all live in. I look forward to meeting more new passengers in the future.”

Why not let Alan and Clyde transport you around Finderne this summer?

👉 Now part of the £2 single fare cap, Clyde offers an affordable, green and community-focused way to explore local landmarks, countryside walks, outdoor adventures and businesses throughout Finderne.

Our logo pays tribute to one of Finderne’s most iconic landmarks, the Divie Railway Viaduct at Edinkillie 🚂 🛤

Towering 105 feet high, Divie Viaduct is an impressive piece of engineering, once carrying trains across the landscape and now favoured by walkers, photographers and historians alike.

Originally designed to carry the Inverness to Perth Junction Railway, it opened in 1863 and closed in the 1960s, before being restored as part of the Dava Way 🥾🌳
