Event #12 saw a fantastic 100 juniors cross the finish line, including 22 first timers joining us at Duke Street Park.

There was plenty to celebrate too, with 15 new PBs and two milestone awards presented, one for completing 10 junior parkruns and one marathon wristband. 👏

Alex was first home in 8:21, while Matilda led the girls home in 8:36, also recording the day's highest age grade.

A huge thank you to our 25 amazing volunteers who made the morning possible. We simply couldn't put the event on without you.

Well done to every junior who ran, walked, skipped and smiled their way around the course. See you next Sunday! 💙

What a great way to finish August at Duke Street Park junior parkrun! 🌳🏃

Event 11 saw 95 juniors cross the finish line, including 16 first-timers joining us.

There was plenty to celebrate, with 12 new PBs and six milestone awards presented: 3 for completing 10 junior parkruns and 3 Half Marathon wristbands. 👏

Luca was first home in a speedy 8:02 on his first visit, while Matilda was our first female finisher in 8:44!

A huge thank you to our 20 fantastic volunteers who gave up their Sunday morning to make today's event possible.

Well done to every junior who ran, walked and smiled their way around the course. See you next Sunday! 💙

We have some exciting new junior parkrun milestones to celebrate! 🥳

You asked, we listened - and there are now even more milestone moments for our junior parkrunners to work towards and celebrate. 🚀

⌚ Milestone wristbands have had an upgrade and now include volunteer milestone wristbands for children too! 🙌💚

👕 There’s also a brand-new range of junior parkrun milestone T-shirts available to purchase from the parkrun Shop! ⭐

We love seeing our juniors achieve their milestones, whether that’s through running, volunteering or simply getting involved. Every milestone is worth celebrating! 💚🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What a morning at Duke Street Park junior parkrun! 💚

Today we celebrated our 10th junior parkrun and what a milestone it was! 🎉

A 50th run wristband was handed out. 🥳 Please let us know when your child has completed a milestone (10,25,50,75…etc) and we’ll happily celebrate them and provide a wristband to mark the occasion.

🏅 Huge congratulations to every single child who came along, ran, jogged or walked the course!

Fastest child came in at 7:49, you all did an amazing job and the main thing is you did it and enjoyed it!

A special shout-out to everyone who crossed that finish line - you should all be incredibly proud! 👏💚

What a great way to start a Sunday morning in Formby! 🎉

We had an amazing 99 finishers today, including 13 first-timers, with 10 youngsters completing their very first junior parkrun.

There was plenty to celebrate too, with a fantastic 27 new PBs! 👏

We had a new course record with Callum coming home in a speedy 7:14 on his first visit to Duke Street Park!

A huge thank you to our 30 amazing volunteers who made today's event possible. We couldn't do it without you.

We hope everybody is enjoying their summer holidays. Well done to every junior who ran, walked, skipped and smiled their way around the course. See you next Sunday! 💙

We had another fantastic Sunday filled with smiles, encouragement and plenty of running fun!
