Hi Everyone, This is Liz's Kids. As some of you may already be aware, Liz passed away on the 16th of December after suffering a cardiac arrest a few days prior.

Mum loved doing the girls brigade. It was a massive part of her life and later loved joining the boys brigade. She was constantly telling us all the fun things she had planned to do with you all. She was absolutely devastated to make the decision to close the Girls Brigade and always hoped someone would continue it in the future.

I am sorry to report that 2nd Forfar Girls Brigade will be closing at the end of the year. Caroline and I have tried our best to keep things going but unfortunately it was just not meant to be. The Boys Brigade will continue as normal.

Reminder Anchor Boys/ Explorers and Juniors meeting at Meffan Museum at 6pm tomorrow. No collection required but the tuck shop will be open when we get back to the Church for parents picking children up at 7.20pm

The Girls & Boys Brigade Rededication/Enrolment Service takes place on Sunday 18th September at East & Old Church.

All boys and girls to meet outside the Church at 10.45am. Parents are welcome to stay for the service or can be collected after the service ends at 12 noon. The church will be a fruit salad lunch after the service which boys/girls and parents/carers are welcome to stay for.

Full uniform to be worn - Black Trousers, BB/GB Jumper, arm bands with badges (if have them) Those who dont have BB/GB Jumper can they wear a white polo shirt please. No hats for boys.

Money for collection if possible.

Look forward to seeing you all there.
