Eddie here, reporting for duty from Weagle HQ! 🐶❤️

Well, I thought it was about time I popped on to let you all know what a tremendous help I’ve been to Mum over the last few weeks. Honestly, I don’t know how she’d manage without me! I’ve been making little leaves for her to add to the autumn weagles, all ready for November’s Bonus Ball draws. 🍂🍁

I reckon I’ve earned myself a few extra treats for all this hard work, don’t you? Mum seems to think my wages should be paid in cuddles, but I’ve explained that my union representative (me!) will only accept payment in edible goods! 😂🦴

And seeing as these autumn weagles are all heading off to one of the biggest, most fun Weagle Oven Parties EVER, I’ve told Mum to stop pawcrastinating and get cracking on those Weagle Your Beagles weagles! 🐾🎨

Some of you lovely lot have been waiting a VERY long time for your wee guys to arrive. Almost as long as the time between breakfast and tea time… and as every beagle knows, THAT is practically an eternity! 😱🤣

Now, you may also have noticed that Mum completely forgot about Win a Weagle Wednesday last week. 😱😱

I know. Shocking behaviour! I’m considering putting her on a warning, although I might be persuaded to overlook it in exchange for a biscuit or three! 🍪

Thank aroo all so much for your patience and understanding. Mum says she’s really enjoying having a bit of breathing space, chilling out and creating these wee guys again without putting too much pressure on herself. She’s also determined to get down to the serious business of catching up on all those long-awaited weagles. ❤️

And don’t worry, I’ll continue supervising and helping wherever I can. Although, between you and me, this Fimo stuff is an absolute NIGHTMARE when it gets stuck to your toe beans! 😫🐾

I keep trying to lick it off, but Mum says that’s NOT how it works. Honestly, humans make everything so complicated! 🙄😂

Right, I’m off to check whether my hard work has resulted in any treats yet. I’ll keep you posted… assuming I haven’t fallen asleep waiting for them!

🐾 A little update from Eddie & Buddy 🐾

Afternoon, lovely weagleholics! Eddie and Buddy here, reporting for duty (well, Eddie is reporting for duty if there's a biscuit involved, and Buddy is reporting his dissatisfaction with pretty much everything as usual).

We thought it was about time we popped on to let you know what's happening with Mum and the weagles, as she's been a wee bit quiet and we know some of you might be wondering what's going on.

Now, before anyone panics, Mum is absolutely fine! She's just got her head firmly buried in the sand at the moment, trying to work out how to keep Weagles going without ending up suffering from a serious case of weagle burnout!

Apparently, she's lost her creative mojo. We've tried Googling it, but honestly, we couldn't find a picture of it anywhere. Eddie thinks it might be hiding in the treat cupboard, but that's hardly helpful when he's already eaten everything in there. 🙄

You see, what started out as a fun little hobby, making our adorable Fimo weagles to raise money for beagles in need, has somehow grown into what feels like a second full-time job for Mum. And while she absolutely loves what she does and adores this amazing community, even the most dedicated human needs to put her paws up occasionally.

So, to give Mum's head and hands the rest they desperately need, here's the plan going forward:

🐾 Buddy's Bonus Ball Bonanza will return for November, but after that, we're taking a little break from making until the New Year. November and December are what Mum calls silly season in her other job (the one that pays for us to live the lifestyle we've become accustomed to, including keeping our treat cupboard fully stocked). Apparently, everyone wants their feet sorted for Christmas parties, and Mum's days are already pretty full!

🌻 February will see 1 last special fundraiser using some of the money accumulated through previous Bonus Balls to help support some of the amazing beagle charities we've been lucky enough to work with.

🐾 Looking further ahead, we're scaling things back. Mum still wants to support the wonderful rescues and charities we all know and love, but there won't be any big fundraising events on the page next year, and Buddy's Bonus Ball Bonanzas will be hanging up their lucky numbers for good.

(We did try to tell Buddy that his Bonus Ball events were giving Mum a headache, but he just grumbled and demanded his dinner. Typical.)

There will still be plenty of weagle love, just at a gentler pace, with more time for Mum to enjoy creating rather than feeling she has to constantly be making something new.

And that's really what this is all about. Mum wants Weagles to go back to being the hobby she fell in love with, rather than something that leaves her feeling overwhelmed. She hopes you'll understand that sometimes stepping back is the best way to keep doing something you love.

Paws crossed, we'll have a Win a Weagle Wednesday next week.
The winner will be announced from all those lovely people who donated towards Chip's care. We'll keep you posted!

And just when Mum thought she was going to have a nice, peaceful rest, along comes another of the lovely rescues we've helped before, needing a wee bit of emergency support.

Luckily, Mum has two sunflower 🌻 weagles tucked away for just such an occasion, so keep your eyes peeled for details!

Honestly, we don't know why she bothers trying to have a rest. 😂

To every single person who has liked, shared, commented, donated, bought a weagle or simply cheered us on, you have helped make Weagles what it is today. Together, we've made a real difference to so many beagles who needed a helping paw, and that's something Mum is incredibly proud of.

This isn't goodbye, it's just a wee breather. We hope you'll stick around, enjoy the occasional bit of beagle nonsense and continue being the wonderful community you've always been.

Now, if you'll excuse us, Eddie has just heard the treat cupboard opening, and Buddy is complaining that this update has taken far too long and dinner is late.
