Forest Row Community Pre-School offers children from the age of 2 the opportunity to learn through play in a safe, secure and happy environment. Through child led play and carefully introduced ideas and experiences, we aim to help and encourage your child to develop socially, emotionally and physically. fforts of our parents and staff as well as the support of the local community. This includes our Committee made up of current parents and volunteers to drive change and support the setting's growth. We maintain strong links with Forest Row Primary School and aim to ensure that children will take with them positive experiences from our Pre-school which will help them integrate easily into the school environment. This includes Rising 5 classes for those starting school the following September. For further information, please visit our website or call us on 01342 825625

Discovery & Fun in the heart of the village

Forest Row Community Pre-School offers children from the age of 2 the opportunity to learn through play in a safe, secure and happy environment. Through free play and self-chosen activities, we aim to help and encourage your child to develop socially, emotionally and physically. We are a registered charity and a non-profit organization who rely largely on the fundraising efforts of our parents and staff as well as the support of the local community. We maintain strong links with Forest Row Primary School and aim to ensure that children will take with them positive experiences from our Pre-school which will help them integrate easily into the school environment. This includes Rising 5 classes for those starting school the following September. We also handle transitions to many other primary schools and different settings. We pride ourselves on the range of activities and experiences we offer within day to day Pre-School life including real woodwork sessions, Balanceability classes, numerous local outings, interesting visitors and forest school sessions. To find out more about our activities, please see our Facebook or Instagram feed.

Children who attend Pre-School or After School Club are given a profile on our secure online learning journal, this allows you to log in at any time and see what the children have been up to, eaten that day and other information. You are able to print photobooks, connect directly with staff or see invoices and bookings through this system too. We also offer wrap around clubs to care for children from 8am-5:30pm. After School club accepts children from the age of 2-12 years, offering a collection from Forest Row Primary School. It’s a club for having fun and is available on a one off or for planned sessions each week. For further information, please visit our website or call us on 01342 825625
