Well Done to our Ford Member Amanda who won the Mrs B MacInnes rose bowl for best community entry with her hand made dolls house in a suitcase. Also to Aileen for winning the Allerdyce trophy for the best entry in photography with the jelly fish from art in nature category. Ford was also third in the large institute category made up with all the points that were awarded. Thanks to everyone that took part more photos will follow.

Ford Swi met last night at Ford hall. Members enjoyed an evening of Scottish Country Dancing with members from mid Argyll RSCDS.Some of our members joined in and some watched from the sidelines.

Our last competitions of the year was a garden on a tray and macaroons or as some members thought macarons! A good laugh was had.

Saturday 24th April sees the bi annual show in ardrishaig where all the institute’s in Argyll come together to show off there skills. All welcome to come along.

Next month’s meeting on Tuesday 5th May is our AGM

What a great evening Ford SWI had with Nicky from the pink ladies of Argyll. A very informative night. We welcomed visitors from Lochgilphead and Kilmore SWI. Our raffle which was held for the pink ladies raised an impressive £170.00!

Last night we also held the annual pancake competition for the Sheena Carmichael Trophy which was won this year by Di Roberts.

Next month we have some Scottish country dancing on Tuesday 7th April Ford Hall 7.30pm
