While doing the VHF NFD Fixed Station entry from M0BAA near Folkestone, Kent we were repeatidly buzzed by Spitfires... either a solo or a pair so there were at leasst three up in the sky over Kent...
I kep missing them because by the time I could hear them in the shack they were already passing over or had gone... In the end I took to using https://1090mhz.uk live map to watch them inbound towards us and popped outside with the phone to capture this...

The Blacksheep are out this weekend in Paddlesworth to take part in NFD in the fixed station section as M0BAA. We are always active on 144.153 due to our tuned barrel filters, please keep an ear out for us. Activity has been awesome this year!
