Stamp your feet and bang a drum! Join us to Sing Folk this Tuesday 25 August at The Mariner, Folkestone.

We will be warming up in Kentish style, with an introduction to clog dancing from 5.30-6.30pm (bring hard soled shoes or clogs).

Exciting to see Sing Folk mentioned in the latest The Folkestone Foghorn. Thank you Hayley Pearce for highlighting all the great folk activities happening in the town.

Our next session is Tuesday Aug. 25th. We are offering an introduction to clog dancing from 5.30pm (please wear hard soled shoes or clogs) for 1 hour followed by our usual session 7-9pm. All The Mariner Folkestone

Folkestone is a special town, with lots of wonderful people, including everyone who runs Music in May at Folkestone Music Town. This month-long, town-wide festival is a celebration of the talent, wonderful community and bold ambition of this town.

Come down to The Mariner on the old harbour, tomorrow Tuesday the 19th of May from 7-9pm to help us celebrate being part of Music in May for the 2nd time, on our first birthday.🎂

Medieval parties, were grand, theatrical, and highly structured feasts used to display wealth, power, and status. Held in Great Halls, they featured elaborate entertainment, hours-long courses, often lasting late into the night.

Maybe we won’t quite be partying like it’s 1399 but there will be cake!
