If you come up to the Leas Bandstand tomorrow Saturday 19th September between 2.15 and 4.15pm you may well have a fab surprise. For playing on there will be Tim Bradley and the Heroes with a fantastic tribute to New Wave/Mod/2 Tone late 70’s & 80’s.

This is our final band on the bandstand this season and they will give us a swell send off to finish the season. The Heroes is a very popular local band and we are expecting quite a large crowd. So if you want a sit to enjoy the free family friendly event you will have to bring your own picnc chair to sit in and tuck into your sandwich. Alternatively you could try our on site concessions - Sipsiaters mobile bar, Rio’s Ice Creams, Yankee Doodle donuts, slush, hot and cold drinks, and Paul’s German sausages and burgers.

Come along and have a great afternoon of pure fast paced entertainment.

Last practice before we begin with Sugar Skulls. A good crowd building up which is great.

12/09/2026

Setting up for Sugar Skulls on the bandstand today from 2.30 to 4.30pm.
Who are Sugar Skulls? Based on Kent the band is an edgy pacey rock band covering the Chili's, Foos, Green Day, Bowie and more.

New to Folkestone Festivals, we very much looking forward to their performance in an open air venue. Well worth coming to this free family friendly event.
