Well done Chris, you really deserve this award! X

As many of you know, our head coach Chris attended the Kent LTA awards on Saturday as he had been shortlisted for coach of the year.

On hearing he had won, Chris looked so surprised - but nobody else in the room did. Chris has been dedicated to developing tennis in this area of Kent for over 20 years and has coached countless numbers of players of all ages and backgrounds. His love for tennis is infectious and his aim is always to share the game he loves with as many people as possible!

We are so pleased for Chris - it is extremely well deserved.

I have had the pleasure of working with two young ladies who chose to do sugarcraft for their Duke of Edinburgh awards, they have done really well, as I'm sure you will agree looking at their cake! Neither of them have ever done any sugarcraft before and in some of the lessons mum joined in too, which was lovely watching them all enjoying themselves and learning together, so this cake was a real family project and please do look closely and you will see all the fun little extras, like the snail 🐌 peeking out from under the leaves, see how many different things you can find on the cake!
I really did enjoy doing the lessons with them, so a big thank you and well done, you both did brilliantly and not forgetting mum who hasn't done sugarcraft before, did a brilliant job too. 😊

The window is ready for Saturday and I'd like to say a big thank you to Christine and Bertie for their help in making the flowers on Thursday evenings with me, they are all made out of clay this time! Thank you again x
