Today we’re celebrating teachers in the world’s most isolated places including Illeret – a remote pastoralist village in northern Kenya.

When MAF-Kenya flew teacher trainers Ruth Wuerzle and Corinna Boecker to Illeret, the 2.5-hour flight from the capital, Nairobi, saved them an 18-hour road trip on rough terrain!

Together with local teachers, Edwin Changamu and Everline Momanyi, the team equipped 20 primary school teachers over 2 weeks with tools to deliver maths, English, Kiswahili, Daasanach and life skills.

📣 We're looking for a new Resourcing Coordinator to join our team!

Behind every church talk, fundraising event and conversation about MAF are people equipped with the right resources and support to share our mission well.

That's where this role comes in.

As our Resourcing Coordinator (Maternity Cover), you'll join the MAF in the Community team, helping to equip our churches, volunteers, speakers and fundraisers across the UK.

You'll support everything from developing engaging church and volunteer resources, to community fundraising and helping organise MAF's presence at Christian and aviation events.

If you're organised, enjoy connecting and collaborating with people, and would love to use your skills to support a global Christian mission, we'd love to hear from you.

📍 Hybrid: Folkestone or Glasgow
💷 Salary: £28,701 per annum
📆 Contract: 12-month maternity cover
